Strachan makes his first Boro signing - Birmingham striker Bent joins on loan

Marcus Bent has joined Middlesbrough on loan, becoming the first signing of  Gordon Strachan's reign at the Riverside.Bent, 31, has struggled with hamstring injuries and has not featured for Birmingham so far this season.He has signed up for an initial two-month period with the Championship high-flyers.
