An angry Moyes led a media blackout after the Toffees' 2-0 defeat at White Hart Lane because his side were not allowed to play the fixture on Wednesday. The Scot wanted to postpone the match, which was Everton's third in six days, by 24 hours to ease the fixture congestion on his injury-hit squad. But rules did not allow the date to be changed because Spurs cannot play at home on the same day as North London foes Arsenal, who beat Liverpool on Wednesday.Neville told Sky Sports News: "It is plain for everyone to see. It doesn't take Einstein to work out that the game should not have been played on Tuesday. End of story."Everton have suffered severe injury problems, with Neville, Mikel Arteta and Phil Jagielka all suffering cruciate knee ligament damage in close succession.Fitness problemsJoseph Yobo, Leon Osman and Victor Anichebe are also among a number of players who have been sidelined, and the fitness problems are a shock to Neville. He said: "Never in my career (have I known of so many injuries). I was speaking to the physio, and he has been in physiotherapy now for a long time, and he has never known anything like it."You just hope now that the light is at the end of the tunnel."Normally you get injuries during the season, but they are little strains that keep players out for two or three weeks."We have had two or three cruciate ligament injuries which is, in any squad, particularly to key players, going to rip the heart out of any squad."We have handled it so far. We have not used it as an excuse and we won't use it as an excuse."But it is time now that we got these players back fit because, at the moment, as an injured player, you feel like you are letting your team-mates down."
