Robins wants players to learn from defeat

Manchester United gave Barnsley a footballing lesson at times during their 2-0 Carling Cup win, according to Tykes manager Mark Robins.Barnsley grew in confidence after an early setback when conceding Danny Welbeck's fifth-minute goal and created several chances before and after Michael Owen had added a second just before the hour mark.Even after United had been reduced to 10 men following Gary Neville's straight red card for a high tackle on Adam Hammill, they still carved out chances on the counter-attack.Robins said: "What we've got to learn and take from that game is the fact United move the ball quickly, we took maybe a touch too many."If we can move the ball we'll create more chances and we're capable of doing that but the main point is how hard Manchester United work when they haven't got possession."They work their socks off to get the ball back quickly and that's a big feature of their play and something we should take note of and try and emulate."
