West Ham defender Calum Davenport on the mend after knife attack

Life-saving surgery: Calum Davenport West Ham sources have admitted they will not know whether knife attack victim Calum Davenport will play again until he is given the green light to start running once more.Davenport has a 15-inch scar on his leg after undergoing life-saving surgery following the attack in August.
