Redknapp eyes fourth place finish as he toasts his first full year at Spurs

Harry Redknapp rightly bathed in the glory on Friday of his first full year at Tottenham, having turned them from a rock bottom team to one sitting third in the Premier League. No longer are they the soft touch Redknapp believed them to be before he arrived from Portsmouth and that will be important against Saturday's rugged visitors Stoke - who he reckons will be a top-half-of-the table team this season. Forward planning: Redknapp wants Spurs to finish in the top four this seasonRedknapp, whose 38 games since replacing Juande Ramos have produced 65 points, said: 'I can't do very much more than that - except finish fourth this season! 'No disrespect to the previous manager. He's a top manager but it must have been very difficult when you can't talk to the players. I would find it hard if I went over to Spain or Russia.' Redknapp also blamed the director of football regime, run by Damien Comolli who was axed with Ramos. Hot spurs: Redknapp's men have racked up 65 points since he replaced Ramos'The manager had players given to him by someone else. I couldn't work that way. If they're no good, what can you do? I made that clear to chairman Daniel Levy.'  Redknapp believes club should always be challenging at top of tableSpurs flop Didier Zokora insists he's playing for one of Europe's top clubsTOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC
