Knill was dismissed as Millers manager two years ago but claims he feels nothing for his former club.
He said: "It will be a tough game as they are a good side, one of the bigger teams in this league. But we've been playing well of late and hopefully it will be a tough game for them too.
"There's no sense of revenge. It was a long time ago and it's a different board now. Obviously I wasn't too happy at the time but that board left and they've got a better one now.
"I'm in what I think is a better place and victory on Saturday will simply mean three points to me."
