Cherries midfield pair Sammy Igoe and Joe Partington could soon receive their discharge papers from physio Steve Hard. Igoe and Partington are both on the verge of hitting the comeback trail after being added to the Dean Court casualty list five weeks ago. Igoe has been sidelined since complaining of discomfort in his right leg following Cherries 3-1 victory over Lincoln on September 12. The 34-year-old, who netted twice against the Imps, was subsequently found to have sustained bruising to the bone marrow just below the knee. Partington had been playing through the pain barrier for a number of weeks, despite being troubled by a nagging groin problem. However, his injury finally caught up with him following a reserve outing at Salisbury on September 15. Although neither Igoe nor Partington is expected to be involved against Grimsby on Saturday, they could have a chance for the following weeks visit of Rochdale. Meanwhile, Scott Guyett and Shaun Cooper are still some way off taking their first steps on the road to recovery. Guyett had knee surgery a fortnight ago and is likely to spend at least another six weeks on the sidelines, while Cooper is still on scheduled for a return in the new year following a hip operation. Hopefully, Coops will start jogging next week, reported Hard. Anton Robinson is nursing a minor cut to his head after a training ground collision with Jason Tindall who required emergency dental treatment following the clash on Tuesday.
