United front: Arsenal must match champions' character, says Arshavin

Andrey Arshavin believes Arsenal need to gain confidence and improve their character if they are to compete with the best. The Russian, who joined Arsenal from Zenit St Petersburg in January, is enjoying life with the north London side. But he feels they must believe in themselves to improve their chances of ending a trophy drought which stretches back to 2005 - citing August's defeat by champions Manchester United at Old Trafford as an example.
