Hodgson open to new deal

Hodgson has performed an excellent job at Craven Cottage since taking over midway through the 2007/08 season, initially keeping the club in the Premier League and then leading his team into Europe.However, the well-travelled 62-year-old has been linked with the Sweden national team post after enjoying coaching stints in the country at club level.His current deal with Fulham expires at the end of the season and Hodgson is waiting to learn if he is wanted in West London in the future."The fact of the matter is I have a job to do here and I am committed to the job here, and who knows what is going to happen in the future?" said Hodgson."I'm contracted until the end of the year here, so that is the first thing. So I am not free to take a job until June or July."If a new contract offer comes up I will consider it. We'll have to see."In most places I've been fortunate people have wanted me to stay."
