Manchester United captain Gary Neville has backed Sir Alex Ferguson over his criticism of referee Alan Wiley and accused the Football Association of letting players and managers down. Ferguson refused to discuss the issue hours after the FA received his reserved written apology for suggesting after the 2-2 draw against Sunderland Wiley was unfit.
