Varney in line for Owls return

Varney, on loan from Derby, was ineligible for Wednesday in a 3-0 defeat against his parent club last time out, but could return to partner Marcus Tudgay up front.Owls manager Brian Laws has no new injury or suspension problems, but may be tempted to make changes in defence after his side have leaked goals in recent matches.Mark Beevers gives Laws another option in central defence and he will be vying with skipper Darren Purse and Richard Wood for a place in the starting line-up.Defender Frank Simek and strikers Akpo Sodje and Francis Jeffers all staked their claims for recalls with impressive displays for the reserves in midweek.
