Bennett sets Seagulls goal target

The 20-year-old winger, signed from Wolves for £50,000, opened his account with a superb free-kick and set up the Seagulls' second goal for defender Tommy Elphick in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Gillingham.Bennett said: "Now it's time for us to push up the table. I am delighted to get off the mark and I'd like to score eight goals this season."It was most important to get a win at home. We dominated the opening 20 minutes, and it was good to score, especially after the manager demanded there to be more goals from midfield."Meanwhile, on trial midfielder Gary Roberts did his chances of earning a permanent contract no harm by scoring with a 30-yard curler in the reserves' 1-1 draw with Leyton Orient.
