Bent and Jones have started the season in prolific goalscoring form but Bruce has also been hugely impressed by the performances of Campbell. The former Manchester United youngster, who joined the Black Cats over the summer, has regularly come off the bench to make a big impact in games.Campbell has also had opportunities in the starting XI and Bruce insists he is regarded as more than just a back-up to Bent and Jones.Asked whether the three forwards could play together, Bruce told the Northern Echo: "It's a possibility. "I've always got it in mind too that he (Campbell) can play on the right-hand side and he can get you goals. "Fraizer's done very, very well indeed and has played particularly well in a couple of games. I haven't really had a partnership as such, however in the last two games both (Bent and Jones) scored, which highlighted that. Lively"Fraizer's got a big part to play in the season. I'm convinced of that, because there will come a time when they might need freshening up or they might need a month off. "Hopefully with Fraizer we've got that option as well."Bruce has been delighted with the speed of Campbell's development but feels there is still room for improvement."He's got a lot of maturing and a lot of growing to do but he'll be a big player for this football club, I'm convinced of that," he said."He's been involved in every game we've played and he's had a big impact even if he hasn't scored the goals. "He's given the team an injection because he's a little different, he's lively."
