The Liverpool skipper began training with the rest of the squad, but he was then seen leaving along with head physio Gary Lewin.Gerrard was forced off at half-time during Saturday's 1-0 loss away to Ukraine with a groin problem.Pictures of the midfielder exiting the session with Lewin before it ended have raised concerns he could now be forced out of the Group 6 clash with Belarus at Wembley on Wednesday.Goalkeeper James, who is hoping to start with Rob Green suspended, was the only initial absentee from the 23-man squad, although the Portsmouth No.1 was not sent back to his club.Light sessionThe 22 remaining players trained at Arsenal's London Colney complex, with West Ham striker Carlton Cole the last out of the dressing room to join the group.England Under-21 coach Stuart Pearce oversaw a light session of ball work after the players warmed up, then goalkeepers Joe Hart and Ben Foster trained separately while the rest of the players played 10 v 10, before Gerrard's early departure.Fabio Capello's men have already qualified for next summer's World Cup finals in South Africa, with the midweek encounter their final competitive fixture before the tournament.Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez will be hoping that Gerrard is not risked by Capello ahead of Saturday's Premier League meeting with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.Along with Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Dan Agger and Dirk Kuyt all picked up knocks while on international over the last week.
