Lampard refusing to panic

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is refusing to panic despite struggling to find the net for the Blues this season. Lampard's only club goal so far this term came from the penalty spot against Sunderland and he has now gone nine games without hitting the target. The England international has clocked up at least 20 goals in each of his last four seasons with the Stamford Bridge side. And his next strike will make him the fifth highest scorer in Chelsea's history, as he is currently level with Jimmy Greaves on 132.But Lampard is not concerned by his struggles so far this term, and is confident that the goals will soon start to flow again.FrustratingHe told the Daily Express: "The only difference for me this season is that I've found myself a bit further forward earlier on in games. "I don't think the amount of chances I have been getting has changed. They just haven't gone in for me so far. "But there are always these patches in a season and you just have to get through that."Sometimes it gets frustrating when you get three or four opportunities and still don't score. But I know there will be games later on in the season and it will go in."AdaptLampard does not feel that any change to Chelsea's style under new boss Carlo Ancelotti is holding him back, and he feels that getting the ball to in-form strike duo Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba is key.He added: "Systems are fluid and you can over-analyse to find out a reason for why this is happening or that. "Good players need to be able to adapt to these things - they change all the time."Whey you have the likes of Drogba and Anelka playing up front, you have to find them and use their qualities - their pace, their power, their strength and their finishing qualities."
