Rams off to Portugal for break

The Championship club will use the two-week sabbatical as a team-building exercise, similar to their trip to Spain last month. "Those who are fit are going to have a couple of days away and do some work and relaxation," said Rams manager Clough. "But there are not too many going because of the injuries. Anybody with the slightest injury will stay and work with the medical staff. "As on the trip to Spain a few weeks ago, they are all paying for themselves, so it is coming out of their pockets. It is not a holiday, they can have a holiday in May, it is resting and working. "Like all the sides in the Championship and Premier League, they will get a few days off to go away or whatever. We just think it is better if we all go together. "We still have a new squad that is gelling, it is not as if these lads have been together two or three seasons now. They are not fed up of the sight of each other and are still getting to know each other."
