Miku double lifts Getafe

A double from Venezuela striker Miku lifted Getafe to a 5-1 victory at home against Sevilla on Monday.The side from the suburbs of Madrid move up to 11th place in the table to join a group of five teams on 45 points - Espanyol, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao - all bidding for European football next season.Sevilla had gotten off the mark first with Alvaro Negredo opening the scoring after 19 minutes, but Miguel Torres got Getafe back on level terms after 35 minutes.The hosts added a second through Algerian midfielder Medhi Lacsen four minutes after the break with Sevilla losing all hope in a six minute spell which saw Pedro Rios score (68) in between Miku's double (63, 71).In the race for the title, Real Madrid maintained their four-point lead on Barcelona with a 3-1 win over Sporting Gijon on Saturday during which Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 41st goal of the season putting him joint top of the scoring table with Lionel Messi whose double gave Barcelona a 2-1 win at Levante.
