Todd hands out advice to Windass

Todd has handed Windass, 40, his first job in coaching and the Quakers' new manager admitted his right-hand man was enduring a baptism of fire as Darlington have taken only one point from their first eight league matches. Todd said: "Dean has got to make that transition. He thinks he can still play and would go on forever if you let him, but he's coming to the end of the road as a player. "He's beginning to realise now how hard it is, it's a tough lesson for him now coming on to this side of football instead of just playing, but he's determined to learn and is committed to it." Windass began his professional career at hometown club Hull in 1991 and scored their winner against Bristol City in the 2008 Championship play-off final that took the Tigers into the top flight for the first time in the club's history.
