The 29-year-old has been plagued by injury throughout his career and he suffered a thigh problem during pre-season which has condemned him to a frustrating start to the current campaign. But Brown is hoping to have a successful return to first-team action when he features in Wednesday's Carling Cup game against Wolves at Old Trafford."It was frustrating not to be able to build on where I was at the end of 2008," he said."Getting injured for the most of last season was not very pleasant but I am used to it I suppose.Positive"There is no point thinking 'why me?' I just get on with it and try to be confident. I am fit at the moment. That is the main thing."Brown will be hoping to impress Sir Alex Ferguson on Wednesday night as competition for the right-back spot in the United side hots up, with Gary Neville and Rafael Da Silva also vying for a first-team place."That is football," Brown added. "I have been out and the lads who came in did extremely well."The squad is very big now and everyone is fighting for positions. That is the way the gaffer likes it."It is healthy and good for the club. I just have to try and play well again."
