No Yellow For Spiderman

Jonas Gutierrez is well known for his unique goal celebration, which involves a Spiderman mask, but . the midfielder has revealed he no longer carries the mask in his shorts in order to avoid receiving yellow cards. Jonas Gutierrez: "I gave the last one to a fan, because I get yellow cards so I think it is no good to spend yellow cards because of a celebration so now I don't have it. "Maybe I'll use it at the end of the season when the yellow cards don't count. But we have ten games to go and I don't want to miss any games." On the subject of yellow cards . when is a game officially over? As we saw against the Mackems at St James' Park, they had a player sent off as the players left the field to walk down the tunnel, a good 90 seconds after the final whistle. There were FIVE players sent off after the game at Crawley this month. Yet a player gets a yellow card for taking off his shirt - and that is in the FA rules - but after the final whistle players are allowed to swap shirts.
