York City v Southport

York City are without midfielder Scott Kerr and striker Jason Walker for the visit of play-off rivals Southport to Bootham Crescent. Both were substituted during last week's FA Trophy semi-final victory over Luton Town with Kerr suffering a knee injury and Walker a tightened hamstring. But defenders Lanre Oyebanjo, Ben Gibson and David McGurk are all back training while Ukrainian-born former Nottingham Forest midfielder Eugen Bopp [right] is added to the squad after arriving until the end of the season.“There will be a lot of talk about Wembley between now and the Trophy final," York boss Gary Mills told The Press.“You try and keep the players away from all that but, when you reach Wembley, there’s a lot that goes with it in terms of people’s families and arranging what we do when we go there."It’s difficult to ignore all that but we have got to concentrate on getting back into a play-off position. "There’s no bigger game than Southport to do that in because we know that if we win we go back into the top five and that’s what we’ve worked so hard for all season.” The visitors are likely to remain unchanged from the side that defeated Stockport County 5-0 last time out.  Skipper Alan Moogan (ankle) is still unavailable and midfield pair Josh O'Keefe and Ray Putterill are suspended.Meanwhile, into the club this week have come striker Ross Farran (Vauxhall Motors), together with Skelmersdale United duo Rob McIntosh and goalkeeper Sam Ashton.
