The midfielder met with his manager at the club's training facility in Bodymoor Heath, and the matter has now, officially at least, been put to bed.Sources close to Reo-Coker said that the 25 year-old had arrived for training feeling like he was a student turning up for his first day at school such was his apprehension over how he would be received.  Related ArticlesPetrov: harmony restored at VillaNigel Reo-Coker dropped after Martin O'Neill bust-upAston Villa v Portsmouth: match previewVilla proves it's good to talkTaunts motivated Gabby AgbonlahorSport on televisionIt is unknown whether he has been fined for his part in the confrontation, which took place when he reacted to criticism during a practice session ahead of the club's match against Portsmouth.Where this now leaves Reo-Coker is uncertain. Contrary to many of the rumours doing the rounds over the last couple of months, the former West Ham player is understood to want to remain at the club. He was prepared to apologise for the incident, and now, according to team-mates, wants to "get his head down." The opinion of the club captain, Stiliyan Petrov, is that Reo-Coker will be welcomed back into the group. "We're happy to have players like that, players that want to speak, want to fight," Petrov said. "Of course we will welcome him back." Whether O'Neill feels the same way remains to be seen. It is understood, however, that should the club now seek to sell Reo-Coker in January, his market price in the summer put in the region of £8 million will have dropped as a result of the episode.
