Kenyan police on Wednesday impounded a luxury SUV vehicle belonging to Italian-based midfielder McDonald Mariga for bearing personalised number-plates, local television reported.The Hummer four-wheel vehicle, which was being driven by the player's younger brother bears Mariga's name and his jersey number seventeen, which he wears at Italian giants, Inter Milan, who have loaned him to fellow Serie A side Parma after a year's stint at Real Sociedad in Spain."Mariga's car was detained today. We are not targeting him as a person but this is a crackdown which is aimed at ensuring all motorists adhere to the rule of the law in the Traffic Act," said Nairobi traffic commander Patrick Juma.Mariga, who boycotted the national team's 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Togo in Nairobi last weekend due to a row over cash payments, also owns three other top-of-the-range vehicles including a Cadillac Escalade and a Toyota Land Cruiser.
