The Black Cats implemented a complete overhaul during the summer, with new coaching staff and a host of new players brought on board.Bruce, who was lured away from his managerial post at Wigan, accepts that it will take time for everything to level out at the Stadium of Light.However, the club have made a positive start to the new season, with the summer arrivals quickly settling in their new surroundings.Unsurprisingly the impressive showings have pleased Bruce, who believes his squad continue to head in the right direction.Spirit"I just detect now there is a bit of spirit coming amongst us," he said."We are all new, we have made huge changes and that takes a little bit of time, but we can see people are gelling with each other and making friends with each other."That's going to take, as I said, a little bit of time, but it's going the right way."Bruce admits that the eye-catching start to the campaign has left him facing welcome selection posers, with Sunderland now able to boast a squad brimming with talent.He added: "The nicest headache any manager can have, let me tell you, is to try to change a winning team."
