Injury worries for Latics boss

Defender Andy Holdsworth (knee) and striker Nick Blackman (foot) picked up knocks during last weekend's defeat at Bristol Rovers and will be assessed.Midfielder Jon Worthington again looks certain to be missing due to an ankle injury while Joe Jacobson and Rob Purdie, who have yet to feature this season, could remain sidelined.Defender Jacobson is currently troubled by a pelvic problem and midfielder Purdie is recovering from a stomach injury.Striker Deane Smalley, 20, has yet to feature this season due to a back problem and will be missing for several weeks.The Latics are languishing fourth bottom of League One after winning only one of their opening seven matches.
