Sampson hopeful of home support

Sampson is a hugely popular figure at Sixfields after 15 years with the club and despite being hammered 5-2 at Notts County last weekend is sure that he will be backed this time around.He said: "I would like to think all the fans want me to get the job and the support we received at Notts County was first class."The players on the pitch need all the support they can get at the minute but I am sure they will get plenty on Saturday."The players have been excellent in training all week and are very positive. We know we need a good performance against Rochdale and they are ready to deliver."
