The Norwegian international has established himself as one of the best defenders in the Premier League since his move to Fulham in January 2008 from FC Copehagen.A host of clubs were linked with Hangeland during the summer transfer window, but Fulham managed to keep hold of the 28-year-old.Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson has admitted he is keen to tie down the towering central defender to a new long-term deal and Hangeland is ready to sit down and discuss terms"We are hopeful we can sit down and work something out, and I am certainly very keen on that," Hangeland told the Daily Star.
