Holdsworth Adds To Attacking Options

Aldershot Town have increased their attacking options ahead of match against Hereford United. Manager Dean Holdsworth has confirmed that he has added a striker to his squad with the arrival of 29-year old Wilko Risser. The player, who is a Namibian-German, has more recently featured for Maltese Premier League side Floriana. Wilko, who is the brother of Swindon Town’s Oliver Risser, is also a Namibian international. Speaking about the arrival of the 6 ft 3” Namibian international the boss told the clubs official website: “Wilko gives us something different for our strikers to play off. When I made a phone call to his agent within 20 minutes Wilko was on a plane and made himself available. "Currently he is on a short term contract but he could become a good asset for us. He is well travelled and he wants to prove a few things to people and we can take advantage of that.”
