Capello standing by Heskey

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Fabio Capello believes Emile Heskey is so important to England's system that he may keep faith with the striker regardless of his club form. Heskey's inclusion in the England side for the clash with Croatia raised a few eyebrows, especially with Jermain Defoe of Tottenham in such good form of late. However, Capello feels Heskey can bring more out of star men Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney than any of his rivals for a starting spot.Capello admits he could even be prepared to ignore his stated rule that players must feature for their clubs every week in order to be considered for international duty.Heskey, who has scored seven goals in 56 England appearances, faces competition for a regular starting role at Aston Villa."I don't know whether I will break my golden rule for Heskey, I hope I don't have to think about it," said Capello.Important"But he is really important to the system we play, both in terms of our movement and the way we press to win the ball back."I accept he is not the greatest finisher. But the others can do it. If he opens the door, they will arrive."Capello also defended Heskey over a chance he missed at Wembley this week, saying that another player might not have had the opportunity anyway."Emile did miss a great chance on Wednesday but he was the one who created it," explained Capello."Someone else might not have created the same chance. Without his movement it is impossible."
