Dreaming: James Beattie England's forgotten man James Beattie is refusing to give up on his World Cup dream - and he intends to prove he is good enough by giving John Terry a working over today. The Stoke striker, 31, last represented the Three Lions in the defeat by Denmark back in November 2003. But Beattie said: 'It's not daunting playing against Terry. If you think it's daunting then maybe you are in the wrong job. It's something you look forward to and relish. 'I want to do well against him and if you're doing well for you club, it doesn't matter who you are playing for - you can get into the England squad. I'm not giving up hope.'
