Tunisia players show support for jailed Jaziri

Tunisia marked their Africa Cup of Nations win over Morocco here Monday night by displaying support for jailed former teammate Ziad Jaziri. After the whistle blew on their opening 2-1 Group C win over the Moroccans Tunisia captain Karim Haggui and the rest of the side pulled on shirts with "Solidarity with Jaziri" written on them. The former Carthage Eagles striker became a national hero after scoring the winning goal in Tunisia's 2-1 defeat of Morocco in the 2004 Nations Cup final at home. The 33-year-old who has earned 64 caps was then arrested by police and detained in July last year in connection with a drug trafficking affair.
