The Glovers head into the match on the back of a 1-0 home defeat by Swindon and still seeking their second victory of the new league season after opening the campaign with a home win over Tranmere.
Skiverton said: "(Against Swindon) we needed to test the goalkeeper more. The strikers have been doing well and we've been scoring in a lot of games.
"If we hadn't scored for five games I'd have been more worried."
Skiverton hopes to welcome back striker Gavin Tomlin from injury.
