Bordeaux loan Modeste to Blackburn

French striker Anthony Modeste has been loaned by Bordeaux to struggling English Premier League side Blackburn Rovers with an option to buy, the French club confirmed on Thursday.The 23-year-old youth international arrived in Bordeaux from Nice in 2010, following a loan spell at second division Angers, but has fallen out of favour this season, losing his first-team place.He has scored just four goals in 15 games for the mid-table Ligue 1 side.
