Seip transfer-listed by Pilgrims

The 27-year-old arrived at Home Park in 2006 after being released by Heerenveen and has started all six league and cup matches this season. However, he is understood to have had a dressing-room bust-up with Argyle boss Paul Sturrock following the 3-1 home defeat by Sheffield Wednesday on August 29. Seip has been punished by Sturrock before, following his refusal to be a substitute in the clash against Charlton in April 2008. He later apologised to his manager and team-mates, but there appears to be no way back for him this time round. With the transfer window closed until January, Sturrock is planning on shipping Seip out on loan. Sturrock told the club's official website: "We feel it's an appropriate time for Marcel to move on. "He's been fined two weeks wages for his indiscretion and placed on the transfer list. "We know he can't transfer anywhere at this time but we would like to think the first step would be going out on loan." Seip was linked with Newcastle last weekend, although Magpies caretaker boss Chris Hughton later denied any interest in the player.
