Any Move For Sandaza Has To Be Right For Saints

St Johnstone do not want to lose Francesco Sandaza next month St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas has made it plain that on-fire striker Francisco Sandaza will only leave during the transfer window if the deal is beneficial for the Perth side.  Form that produces 12 goals in 17 games in all competitions so far this season has helped Saints to fourth place in the SPL ahead of Monday's trip to Inverness. Anybody with such a goal ration attracts attention.  The former Dundee United and Brighton striker has been linked with a move to Rangers, should Nikica Jelavic be on the way out, but Lomas insists St Johnstone do not need to sell. The manager hopes Sandaza, who is out of contract at the end of the season, will focus on scoring goals for St Johnstone for the remainder of the current campaign before looking for a move elsewhere. Sandaza was Mr Popular with the media on Wednesday night Lomas said: "If somebody wants Fran in January it will have to be beneficial for us. It's as simple as that. It's got to be right for the club, or else we wait until the end of the year. I've said to Fran score 25 goals this season and you can go wherever you want." Midfielder Murray Davidson has been the subject of repeated speculation in the past 12 months, while the future of other Saints players is sure to be a regular topic of conversation over the next month after their strong start to the season. Lomas went on: "Everyone's under contract until the end of the season, at least. I've got no pressure to sell. It would have to be decent offers and it would have to be beneficial for St Johnstone."
