// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Richard Cresswell is looking to hold talks with Stoke boss Tony Pulis regarding his future. The experienced striker was the subject of approaches from a couple of Championship clubs on transfer deadline day, with Watford known to be one of those in the hunt for his signature.Cresswell spurned those advances in favour of remaining at the Britannia Stadium but, with the loan window set to open on Tuesday, he could yet find himself on the move. The 31-year-old's contract is set to expire next summer and he admits he is keen to know where he stands before making any further decisions on which direction to take.He told the Sentinel: "A couple of clubs came in on deadline day, but at that moment it wasn't right for me."The gaffer here is happy for me to stay and, if I do, I am more than happy to keep working hard to be available for as long as I am here. My contract is up at the end of the season, but if I do stay this season it goes without saying I will give 100 per cent."I've already been involved in most games this season, but I probably need to have a long chat with the gaffer now to see what's what."
