Adam focused on club matters

The 23-year-old midfielder has two Scotland caps to his name but has not featured in qualifying for the 2010 World Cup."I don't need to prove to anybody in Scotland what I'm doing down here," he told the club's official website."The most important thing for me is playing well for Blackpool and pushing them as high up the table as I can."I love playing for my country. But the manager picks the squad and if I'm not in the squad I need to keep playing well to show him that I'm ready. The most important thing for me is to be doing it on a Saturday for Blackpool and other things will take care of themselves."Adam moved to Blackpool from Rangers in August for a club-record transfer fee of £500,000.
