Ryan ruled out of Lancashire derby

It was feared the former Liverpool trainee had fractured his leg in Tuesday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory at Oldham.But it was later revealed he had suffered a gashed leg and no break, however, he will not feature against the Shakers.Luke Joyce is expected to keep his place in midfield despite being replaced by Ryan against the Latics and Sean McConville is pushing for a start.On-loan defender Tom Lees will make his first start in the league after making his debut against Oldham following his move from Leeds.Experienced midfielder John Mullin will not feature as he remains sidelined with an ankle injury, while goalkeeper Alan Martin is away with the Scotland Under-21 squad.
