John Terry stunned by transfer ban as Brazil president backs FIFA stance

John Terry has admitted he has been left stunned by Chelsea's transfer ban - as the punishment meted out to the Premier League club received some heavyweight political support.The Blues have been barred by FIFA from signing any players until 2011 after luring teenager Gael Kakuta from Lens to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2007.Chelsea and England captain Terry is reeling from FIFA's punishment, which has been endorsed by the president of Brazil!'It was a big shock,' said Terry, who is on international duty ahead of a friendly against Slovenia and the crunch qualifier with Croatia. 'I spoke to the club this morningand they are appealing. It is something I can't speak about today. They are appealing and it's ongoing from there.'
