Robins looking for extra edge

Seats in the Wedlock Stand are usually reserved for season ticket holders but City will make 1,000 extra seats available to the public at a reduced price for the game on September 19.Speaking to the club's official website, Managing director Doug Harman said: "We have made the tickets available because we want to pack out the East End with home fans and give (manager) Gary (Johnson) and the team maximum support on the day."City currently lie fifth in the Championship with a 100% home record and Johnson credits Robins supporters for the club's fine start."Our fans have played a big part in our excellent start to the season," he added. "We need to make Ashton Gate a fortress if we want to challenge this time."Opposition managers always comment on the atmosphere inside the stadium and we appreciate the role played by our supporters. They are our 12th man."
