Robins continue to singIn-form Cheltenham chalked up a fifth straight away league win with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Oxford at the Kassam Stadium. The home side had left-back Liam Davis sent off after 55 minutes for a second yellow card, his first coming just a few minutes earlier. But Chris Wilder`s side, who fell to their fifth successive defeat in all competitions, were already looking beaten at that stage.Mark Yates' Robins dominated the first half and really deserved more than the one-goal interval lead given them by Sido Jombati's first goal for the club. The Portuguese right-back's first attempt to cross was blocked, so he tried a left-footed lob over goalkeeper Ryan Clarke from 25 yards and measured it to perfection.Kaid Mohamed almost doubled the lead a minute later when he cut in from the left but Clarke saved well at his near post.Davis was shown his second yellow and a subsequent red for a foul on Jombati, and just a minute later Cheltenham made it 2-0 as James Spencer fired through a crowd of players from a corner.Oxford rallied late on and Rob Hall went close before Peter Leven pulled one back with a curling 25-yard free-kick.But the Robins wrapped up the points with Mohamed converting a free-kick of his own, with a deflection off the wall leaving Clarke helpless.Oxford Utd 1-3 Cheltenham: Match Report - view commentary, squad, and statictics of the game as it happened.
