Megson moves quickly to replace Madine

Owls sign Premier League striker on loan Sheffield Wednesday have responded to the news that top scorer Gary Madine faces six weeks on the sidelines with a broken toe by moving to sign Arsenal striker Sanchez Watt on an emergency loan deal. The Londoner signed for Arsenal as a 16-year-old in 2007 and had a short spell on loan with Leeds United towards the back end of the 2009/10 season. Watt impressed enough in that spell to earn a season-long loan deal at Elland Road last season, making over 20 appearances for Simon Grayson’s side. Watt is described as a speedy, skilful player who has been in impressive form for the Gunners reserve team this season, scoring 7 goals in 9 appearances. His contract at Hillsborough runs until 16th January.
