Davis puts pen to paper at Palace

The 30-year-old centre-half has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Selhurst Park. Davis had a spell on loan with Palace at the end of last season, making seven appearances, and also played under Eagles boss Neil Warnock at Sheffield United. "I had him at Sheffield United and made him a millionaire there so he owes me one," said Warnock. "He has had his contract cancelled up at Derby so he's free to come and sign now and he will be good."
