Shay Heading To Poland-Ukraine

Former Toon hero Shay Given looks to be heading to Euro 2012. Skipper Robbie Keane claimed a double as the Republic of Ireland took a stranglehold on their Euro 2012 play-off by beating nine-man Estonia 4-0. Keith Andrews had got the visitors off to the perfect start with a 13th-minute header and Jonathan Walters repeated the feat from Robbie Keane's 67th-minute cross. Keane made it 3-0 four minutes later and then converted a late penalty as Estonia, who had Andrei Stepanov sent off before the break and captain Raio Piiroja after it, capitulated on a miserable night for the hosts in Tallinn. Robbie Keane: "We came here to get a result and full credit to the players they put in a great performance from the start. "They had a couple of players sent off but I think we had the job done before that. We got the early goal and managed to kick on from there. "To come here and win 4-0 is a great result. "The confidence that we have in the squad and the way we played in the whole campaign we deserve to go through and we are looking forward to Tuesday night now."
