Alexander sees Sappleton success

The forward, who began his career at QPR before moving to Leicester in the summer of 2007, has joined the Silkmen until the end of December. The 19-year-old made his debut in Saturday's 3-1 home defeat against Rotherham and played the full 90 minutes. Alexander said: "His debut was forced a bit because Ben Wright was pulled out at the last minute with a groin problem and I thought the lad did okay. "It's very difficult coming from a Championship club when you've not played a lot of first-team football but he's got a good touch and will do well."
