McCall joy after Bantams showing

Goals from James Hanson and Chris Brandon earned the Bantams their first home win of the season."It was a hard-fought victory but deserved. It wasn't an exhilarating performance by any means, but before the game we just asked the players for 100% commitment, effort and energy," said McCall. "We can do better when we have possession of the ball, but I thought we just about deserved to win."Torquay played the right way and passed the ball well without posing too much of a threat, but I didn't think we posed much of a threat either. It was a hard, workmanlike and gritty performance and there were two nice goals to win the game."Defensively we looked better. We worked hard for each other, but we know we have to get better in certain areas."
