Adams: We should have won

Vale had beaten Darlington and Sheffield Wednesday in their previous two games and should have made it three wins in a row after dominating the first 30 minutes - when they hit the crossbar twice."Two lapses of concentration, one in each half, has cost us a game we should have won quite comfortably," said Adams. "We have got to be disappointed with the two goals we conceded, so all in all I am disappointed."I thought we started the game really well when we forced Hereford back and camped in their half of the pitch. We have got to defend better in one-on-one situations, which we didn't do for their goal."At half-time, we put a few things right and came out in the second and started it really well. I thought there was only going to be one winner but we sat back thinking that we had done enough."Mark Pugh put Hereford ahead but goals from Louis Dodds and Robert Taylor turned the game on its head, before Tristan Plummer equalised for the Bulls from the penalty spot.
