Pardew Rues Words In Haste?

Alan Pardue said before the trip to the Stadium Of Shite back in August: "Ryan Taylor has done well but I hope he doesn't play against Sunderland". Unfortunate words, certainly . but Taylor rammed them down Pardew's throat when he DID play and wrote his name into Geordie folklore by scoring the winning goal. Asked about Taylor's latest match-winning contribution Alan Pardew said: "He can't be an unsung hero for 11 games. He was for a couple, but at the moment, he has been terrific. "He's been brilliant, and he is such a lovely lad. I was chuffed for him today. "I don't think he likes Everton - he's a Liverpool fan, isn't he?"
