Nouble extends Gillingham stay

West Ham striker Frank Nouble has extended his loan spell at Gillingham into a second month after a successful start to life at Priestfield. Nouble arrived in mid-September and has scored twice in five starts for the League Two club, with his original month-long agreement due to expire following Saturday's trip to Torquay. But after Nouble expressed he was keen to extend his stay earlier this week and Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler revealed his desire to keep the 20-year-old on board, a deal has been struck with the Hammers which runs until and including the trip to Aldershot on November 19.Nouble, however, is not eligible to feature in Gillingham's FA Cup first-round tie earlier in November.
