Jenson enjoys penalty challenge

It is an experience that has served him well during a period of sustained success for the club under manager Owen Coyle."I think the stats state I have not lost a penalty shoot-out, "said the Danish shot-stopper.One such occasion was last November when Chelsea were beaten 6-5 on spot kicks in the Carling Cup after the scores had finished level at 1-1.Jensen saved the decisive one from Jon Obi Mikel and Burnley went on to reach the semi-finals before winning promotion. The 34-year-old returns to Stamford Bridge on Saturday, having already faced two penalties this season and not conceded a goal.He saved Michael Carrick's effort in the superb victory against Manchester United then watched as Louis Saha dragged his shot wide in the defeat of Everton.Jensen said: "There is no real key to saving penalties, no research as such, just instinct, that's all."Maybe players look at my size and frame and think 'How do I get it past that big lump'."Beating Chelsea in the shoot-out was nice and gave us confidence. But it was a one-off and we have to look forward."Jensen fully appreciates being on the Premier League stage in this his seventh season at Turf Moor.He said: "I think hard work pays off in the end. That is my story. Maybe some Premiership players have had it too easy."It has taken me a long time to get to this level but finally I am here and I want to make the most of it."We all know we have to keep our feet on the ground because things can go either way. We must keep our standards high."Jensen believes they can face Chelsea with quiet confidence."They are playing probably the best football of any team at the moment but if we play like we did last year we have a chance, " he said."We are the underdogs again and this is the Premier League not the Carling Cup but our ambition remains the same."
